Over the past 14 years BCE, a not for profit organization, has been able to remain true to its mission – to improve the quality of life for burn survivors and their families. We have also been able to benefit patients and families in the Burn Center at Westchester Medical Center, educate school age children on the seriousness of burns, distribute information to our seniors alerting them to the devastating effects of burns on the elderly, and work with the Connecticut Burn Camp for Kids. This camp is the only one of its kind on the East Coast and serves as an escape where children learning to cope with their injuries can relax, and just be kids.
